Call for applications for PhD candidates in injury epidemiology and prevention

The research group in injury epidemiology at the University of Turku in Finland, seeks an enthusiastic and organized PhD student who is interested in developing scientific projects. The Injury Epidemiology and Prevention (IEP) Research Group is an international multi-disciplinary research team committed to developing public health solutions for injury control. The sub-fields of interest include: traumatic brain injury (esp. pediatric TBI), falls, burns, poisoning, drowning, suicide, gender-based violence, traffic injury, workplace injuries, craniomaxillofacial trauma, drowning, bullying, elder abuse, self-harm and natural disaster preparedness.
